Cart It is estimated that 2% of all children born each year will have a disabling condition. Many of these children will have speech and or language delays and disorders that may have a significant effect on personal, social, academic, or vocational life. Therefore it is important to identify and treat those children with speech or language impairment.

Researches prove that children have a basic knowledge of language even before they acquire their first word. They can differentiate between their native language and a foreign language, say a variety of nonverbal utterance to express their needs etc. So speech and language treatment should begin even before their first word to improve communication skills.

If the childs communication or behaviour attracts attention, consult a qualified Audiologist/ Speech Language Pathologist.
